Bloggin' on Blogging

So I set up this blog because it is a requirement for a class; Introduction to New Media. It is an interesting class, unfortunately it has only been a week and I have already missed two classes due to my job. Luckily I got a hold of my boss and it is all sorted out from here on out.

Anyways, here goes with my first post. I read an interview with a woman by the name of Trine-Marie Kristensen in which she discusses why she likes to blog. As a fan of blogs myself, I have read this kinda thing a million times. Some people say bloggin' about Blogging is a sin though (-:

I have to say I found her situation to be similar to mine. I also love Wordpress. I originally used Blogger but found Wordpress to be much better. Not to mention Blogger is always down for maitenance. One thing Kristensen said really got to me:

speaking to me—even listening to me if I had something intelligent to say. Wow!

I think that describes perfectly the feeling that you get when you realize people are reading your blog and when you get comments. It is really exciting. In a way, it makes you feel important (Even though it really means no such thing)
